Dealership Donations

Even with the best salesmen and a dealership that offers above average value, every year there’s some stock that just doesn’t find a home. What do you do with aging and distressed stock? Cut the price, and sell it for what you can. Sometimes you’re lucky to make back what the unit costs. 

When donating a new trailer or vehicle you can deduct the full retail value if it is then sold at a greatly reduced price. Social4Society doesn’t have a space to store vehicles or trailers, and we don’t have salesmen. In exchange for a 15% commission we would have the same dealership sell the trailer or vehicle at a 30% discount. 

The dealership making the donation would get the full sale value as a tax deduction, 15% of the sale value back, and the profits help fund our programs. Even at ⅔ the original value the funds from every sale will help buy toys for needy kids, support animal shelters, and create many opportunities for random acts of kindness. 

These donations are essential to keep our programs running. Without your support we can’t do the good that we do, and we will make sure people know it. Some of our social media partners have millions of fans and followers. Every dealership that makes a donation will be featured in every program funded. A single tax season donation could fund months of programs and advertising.

How It Works:

Step 1:

Assemble a list of all proposed donations with retail sale value, and submit it to dealerships@social4society.org 

Step 2:

A representative will arrange to inspect the donations and accept the titles.

Step 3:

Upon transfer of the titles, the dealership will receive an itemized receipt from our Accountant, guaranteeing maximum tax deductions for the generous donations. 

Step 4:

If there’s no immediate need for the donated vehicle or trailer, we ask the dealership to sell the unit at a discounted price for a 15% consignment fee. 

Step 5:

Our network of creators have tens of millions of followers, and we will do our best to make sure they all know that your dealership helped and they should check you out if they’re in the market!

Terms and Conditions

No purchase necessary to enter. In order to win the $1000 cash prize you must have created a social media post tagging a dealership that then makes a donation of a motor vehicle or RV. Pledges to make donations do not count towards winning the cash prize unless the donations are received before December 20th.

Only one post per person, per dealership. Multiple posts from the same person to the same dealership will disqualify all of those entries. 

Contestants may make posts for multiple dealerships all over the country.

Posts must follow the provided script. It’s important that posts are made in the spirit of the charity and positive energy that Social4Society is trying to inspire. 

Prize money will be delivered after January 1st 2026.
